When my children were younger, I thought the same thoughts and asked myself the same questions!
I was intentional about training my children and now they share their faith and pray for opportunities to serve others! They all serve in church and encourage others to do the same.
There's hope!
This website is pretty simple. Here you're in my entryway (Home) where I show you the laundry baskets and toys on the floor reminding you that we're both mamas on a journey together (About). Follow me on a tour of my kitchen (Resources), grabbing an appetizer (Testimonials) on the way to the couch in my living room. Here we'll sit, drink some tea, watch our kids play, and discuss how best to love and train them (Blog).
If you're up for it, you can sit with me at my patio table for a more intentional conversation while the kids play in the yard (Speaking and Connect).

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING
The most important thing is that you and your child know that God loves you and sent Jesus to show you that through His life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
There's the greatest story ever told that will change your life and your children's lives, too.
God created us to be with Him. (Genesis 1:26-27)
Our Sins separate us from God. (Genesis 3; Romans 3:23)
Sins cannot be removed by good deeds. (Galatians 3:23-24; John 1:29)
Paying the price for sin, Jesus died and rose again. (Romans 6:23)
Everyone who trusts in Him alone has eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Life with Jesus starts now and lasts forever. (John 10:10; Revelation 22:3-5)
If you believe this to be true, the next step is to tell God that you believe. Romans 10:9-10 says,
"If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved."
Salvation for full life now and eternal life is a GIFT there is nothing you can do to earn it, you must simply choose to receive it.
This means telling God that you want Him to be in control of your life because you believe Jesus is who He says He is, has done what He said He did and will do what He says He will do.
To tell Him, you start by praying which is simply thinking thoughts to God... don't worry, He will hear you. If this is your first time to accept Jesus' gift of life, PLEASE tell me! I want to celebrate with you!
If you have explained this truth to your child and s/he has accepted Jesus' gift (tell me that, too!), here is a practical resource I wrote you'll find on my blog called "How to Encourage Your Child's New Relationship with Christ"!
THIS is why I write. THIS is why I empower and train parents. As I write this, I am praying for you and your child to accept this gift and "grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18)!
